Wall Township Speedway
NASCAR’s Whelen Modified Tour returned to Wall
Township Speedway - on Sunday, May 6 - following
several years’ absence from the New Jersey oval.
Wall’s ‘Thunder at the Shore’ event
called for NASCAR’s experimental ‘Flash’ format
for qualifying and race procedure. Foregoing
traditional time trials, ‘Flash’ events include
twin qualifying races with the top finishers
transferring into short-distance features.
Starting 15th in the second
qualifying race, Renee’s No. 90 machine
sustained fairly involved damage to the
left-front suspension. Repairs couldn’t be
completed in time – thus ending the team’s day
early. Please visit our gallery to view pictures

With a few weeks off, Renee is next scheduled to
compete in a 150-lap show at Stafford Motor
Speedway (CT) on Friday, May 25. |
